About the event
This roundtable builds on HOISA’s ongoing work synthesising insights from past engagements, including virtual roundtables, field consultations, and practitioner reflections across India and South Asia . It explores how extreme heat is increasingly revealing issues of inequality, exclusion, and uneven access to protection—particularly for small businesses, women, migrants, and urban poor communities. The session is designed as a reflective and evidence-driven conversation to validate emerging findings, identify gaps, and connect lived experiences with humanitarian policy and practice. Rather than a conventional webinar, it aims to deepen collective understanding and contribute to shaping a longer-term agenda on humanitarian justice in the region.
